Description:
Every day since the day you were born, your body has been experiencing different things.
How huge is its archive?
How many emotions have you expressed?
How many of them have you hidden under your skin to show how unmoved you were?
How many of the thoughts did you not speak out loud, building up inner tension that you can feel now in various parts of the body?
This workshop involves working with the body on a very subtle level. Sometimes, we might struggle to identify or categorize emotions we experience - they simply manifest as sensations in our bodies. We learn about them by listening to the body. Emotions, by their nature, operate independently of our will; therefore, they resist our attempts to control them.
During this workshop, you will learn simple yet powerful tools to access, understand, and consciously work with your feelings and psyche in order to transform them. The tools come from the Michael Chekhov technique, which is based on the idea that physical movement influences our inner world - emotions, thoughts, and psychology.
In this workshop, we will focus on key elements of the Michael Chekhov Technique, including:
-
Three Centers: Willing, Feeling, Thinking
-
Qualities of Movement
-
Expansion and Contraction
Workshops are designed for:
-
everyone who wants to learn more about themselves,
-

To connect with one’s heart is the bravest act that a person can do.
To speak with another person from a heart perspective, rather than a head perspective, allows the most beautiful connection between people.
The number of participants is limited.
Workshops will be led in English.
