Wyldwood Arts is seeking an organised, digitally confident Arts Admin Assistant to support our creative team across the Forest of Dean. 10 hours/week at £14.00/hour, with flexible remote and Cinderford working. Interest in arts, community and social justice essential.
Wyldwood Arts is looking for an organised, proactive and digitally confident Arts Admin Assistant to join our small, friendly team in the Forest of Dean. This 10-hour-per-week role (£14.00 per hour) will provide practical administrative support across our creative work, including digital systems, meeting minutes, bookings, travel, onboarding and DBS administration, Wyldwood Wagon maintenance, project data and fundraising support. We're looking for someone with excellent administrative and digital skills who takes initiative, works independently and enjoys being part of a small team. An interest in the arts, community and social justice, and an alignment with Wyldwood's values, is essential. The role is line-managed by our Company Producer and combines remote working with time at our current base in Cinderford. Work-related travel expenses are covered.
You will meet the following essential requirements:
- Be local to the Forest of Dean
- Have excellent administrative and digital skills, with strong attention to detail
- Be confident using everyday digital tools and able to learn new systems quickly
- Have an interest in, or knowledge of, the arts, community work and/or social justice, and an alignment with Wyldwood Arts' values
- Take initiative, spot what needs doing and be able to work independently
- Be a team player who communicates well and enjoys working collaboratively
- Be organised and able to manage several tasks and priorities
- Be reliable and able to follow things through
- Have clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
You don't need to have worked in an arts organisation before. We're interested in your skills, your approach and your willingness to learn.
As Arts Admin Assistant, you'll work closely with our Company Producer and creative team to provide practical, reliable administrative support across Wyldwood Arts. You'll help keep things running smoothly by organising information, maintaining digital systems, formatting documents, taking meeting minutes and following up actions. You'll also support room bookings, travel and accommodation, staff and freelancer onboarding, training and DBS administration, as well as the practical administration and maintenance bookings for our Wyldwood Wagon and van. You'll help with project data collection, monitoring and image management, alongside occasional research and fundraising administration, including data entry and information gathering. This is a small organisation, so you'll also need to pitch in, solve problems and help where needed. We're looking for someone practical, curious, organised and willing to get stuck in.
