Casting call / Open Audition for a Play in English for late 2025

We’re holding open auditions for an original production of the classic play: “Fallen Angels” by Noël Coward - a comedy that is centered on two wealthy women, Julia and Jane who are longtime best friends. Both are happily married, but when they discover that a charming French lover from their past, Maurice, is returning to town, old emotions resurface. As they await his arrival, the women descend into jealousy, rivalry, and hilariously chaotic behavior, revealing the fragility beneath their refined, upper-class lives.

These are the roles we're auditioning for:

*Julia Sterroll: Late-20s/Early-30s Female - witty and sophisticated, she grapples with temptation when Maurice reappears, leading her into a hilarious spiral of jealousy and rivalry.

*Fred Sterroll: Late-20s/Early-30s Male - Julia’s steady, somewhat oblivious husband. Though practical and dependable, he is unaware of the emotional chaos that his wife and Jane are experiencing.

*Jane Banbury: Late-20s/Early-30s Female - impulsive and adventurous, often acts on her emotions rather than thinking things through. Her spontaneity and humour contrast with Julia’s self-control.

*Willy Banbury: Late-20s/Early-30s Male - Jane’s husband, he is laid-back and easy-going. With a light-hearted approach to life, he often takes a humorous, less serious view of situations, unlike Fred.

*Maurice Duclos: Late-20s/Early-30s Male - the charming Frenchman who was once the lover of both Julia and Jane. He embodies the allure of the past, sparking the rivalry between the two friends.

*Saunders: 30+ (age not restrictive) Female - Julia’s sharp-tongued and efficient maid. She is level-headed and often acts as the voice of reason amid the chaos, adding humour to the situation.
