A 12ª edição do Festival Verão Azul chega ao Algarve reafirmando o seu compromisso com a experimentação e a transdisciplinaridade. De 10 a 19 de abril de 2025, o festival percorre Loulé, Faro e Lagos, apresentando uma programação variada que cruza artes performativas, música, cinema e artes visuais. Com artistas de diversas partes do mundo, o evento reflete sobre arte e tecnologia e transforma a região num laboratório vivo de criação contemporânea.

O Festival Verão Azul abre uma convocatória para tatuadores/as/ies locais que queiram integrar a primeira convenção de tatuagens de Lagos, a decorrer no âmbito do festival. Procuramos 5 artistas cuja prática se destaque pela originalidade, experimentação e identidade visual única.

Esta será uma oportunidade para apresentarem o vosso trabalho num contexto artístico e interdisciplinar, em diálogo com um festival que cruza as artes visuais, performativas, música e pensamento crítico.

O Festival garante:
- Espaço de trabalho;
- Pontos de corrente elétrica e baldes do lixo;
- Comunicação e divulgação.

The more you look, the more you see

The 12th edition of the Verão Azul Festival arrives in the Algarve, reaffirming its commitment to experimentation and transdisciplinarity. From April 10 to 19, 2025, the festival will travel through Loulé, Faro, and Lagos, presenting a diverse program that blends performing arts, music, film, and visual arts. With artists from different parts of the world, the event reflects on art, technology, and transforms the region into a living laboratory for contemporary creation.

The Verão Azul Festival is launching an open call for local tattoo artists to participate in the first tattoo convention in Lagos, taking place within the festival. We are looking for five artists whose practice stands out for originality, experimentation, and a unique visual identity.

This is an opportunity for tattoo artists to showcase their work in an artistic and interdisciplinary context, engaging in dialogue with a festival that brings together visual arts, performing arts, music, and critical thinking.

- Workspace;

- Power outlets and waste bins;

- Communication and promotion.

We kindly ask participants to bring their own tattoo materials, as well as a tattoo couch.

Selected participants will receive a confirmation email after the Open Call closes.
